Film Work

CPBS Marine Services regularly provide a range of riverboats for use in film work on the Thames, either as locations in their own right, or to visit, assess and film other locations. As well as filming from them our work boats can also be used as safety boats during filming.

The diversity of our vessels ensures we will always have the right boat for your film shoot. From the smallest of our workboats, M.V. Watchdog , which was used in as a mock police boat for a major film "The Riddle", to the one of our London pleasure boat fleet, MV Golden Star, the scene of a romantic 'dinner a deux' for the E4 show Chantelle's Dream Dates. Other film work includes television series, major films, news, current affairs and music videos.

During September 2014 we were pleased to be involved in some promotional filiming with Virgin Media, during which three of our marine services vessels were put to use.

We are happy to advise on tides and filming licences and our extensive knowledge of the Thames means we can also offer advice on possible film locations if required.

For more information on our range of pleasure boats please click here. Our work boats can be viewed from our Fleet page.
